I. Use of our mobile app

1. Information on the collection of personal data

We, Schüco International KG, have a mobile app available for download onto your mobile device. In the following, we will inform you about the collection of personal data when you use our mobile app. Personal data is all data which pertains to you personally, e.g. name, address, email addresses, user behaviour.

2. Responsible authority for the collection and processing of data

2.1. Schüco International KG, department: Building automation collects and processes your data as the responsible authority.

2.2. If you contact us by email or via a contact form, we will store your email address, and, if you have entered this information, your name and telephone number, in order to respond to your queries. We will delete data arising out of these circumstances after it no longer needs to be stored, or - in cases of legal retention requirements - limit the processing thereof.

2.3. If we wish to use contracted service providers for individual functions of our offer or use your data for advertising purposes, we will inform you in detail about the respective processes below. We shall thereby also state the specified criteria for the storage period.

3. Your rights

3.1. You may assert the following rights against us with regard to any personal data concerning you:

  • Right to information,
  • Right to amendment or deletion,
  • Right to object to processing,
  • Right to data portability.

3.2. You also have the right to make a complaint regarding our processing of your personal data to the data protection authority that is responsible both in terms of region and subject matter.

4. Collection and processing of personal data when using our mobile app

4.1. When you download the mobile app, the information required to legitimise your download is sent to the app store. This includes, in particular, your username, email address and the customer number of your account, the time of the download, payment information, and the individual device code. We have no influence on this data collection and are not responsible for it. We only process the data if it is necessary for the download of the mobile app to your mobile device.

4.2. When you use the mobile app, we collect the personal data described below, to enable comfortable use of the functions. If you want to use our mobile app, we will collect the following data, which we require for specific purposes. These may arise from technical requirements, contractual conditions or explicit user requests.

We process and use personal data exclusively for the fulfilment of contracts or for contract initiation, out of legitimate interest, for the fulfilment of legal requirements or with your permission (legal grounds are art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit a, b, c, f of the GDPR):

  • IP address
  • Date and time of request
  • Access status / HTTP status code
  • Quantity of data transmitted in each case

4.3. The mobile app does not use any cookies.

5. Deletion

Your data or backups required to use the app are managed and/or deleted by you. We do not access your personal data.

6. Data sharing

The sharing, sale or other transmission of your personal data to third parties does not take place unless this is necessary for the purposes of the performance of the contract, or you have given your express permission.

II. Use of your photos

When you start using our mobile app, we ask you in a pop-up for permission to use your photos. If you do not give permission, we do not use this data. In this case, you may not be able to use all functions of the app. You can later grant or revoke the permission in the settings of the app or operating system under Settings.
